Biological Monitoring

Biological Monitoring

To determine exposure to some health hazards, urine or blood testing is required to determine raised levels of substances in a person’s system.

Our occupational health nurses can collect urine or blood samples and send these away for laboratory analysis, as well as reviewing and interpreting the results.

It is important that any testing is measuring the exposure correctly, and FFW can provide advice through our Strategic Review of Health Monitoring to ensure the correct tests are being use to pick up any exposure.
